Heritage Open Days
September 9 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm
Old Portsmouth’s Round Tower is nearly 600 years old. The fortification has changed and developed as the city of Portsmouth has grown and established around it.
Today it sits in the middle of the thirteen artist studios that are the Hotwalls, as part of the recent project renovating Point Battery and Barracks. Whilst the tower is beginning to host a series of cultural events in support of this growing creative community, Heritage Open Days offers the chance to open its doors for the sole purpose of celebrating its own history.
Come and join us for the opportunity to see inside the tower as it stands today and celebrate the launch of our new information panel that explores the deeper history of this unique architectural structure.
