Anglepoise came to visit the Round Tower on the 19th and 20th of November, with the incredible vision of a pop-up to raise money for Portsmouth Foodbank.
The event was a great success, and was exceptionally busy all weekend! Anglepoise were delighted when they realised, they had raised £5000 for Portsmouth Foodbank during their time in the Round Tower, with the help of BA illustration students who raised an extra £400 by creating and selling their own artworks inspired by Anglepoises ‘abandon darkness’.
Right now, £5000 for the foodbank means:
·They can cover their food shopping bill for 5/6 weeks or
·Feed 699 people for a day or
·Provide 2097 meals
Hotwalls would like to thank Anglepoise for choosing the Round Tower to produce such an incredible event that not only was enjoyable to host and be part of but will have a lasting impact on those needing meals in the tough times.
Together, we will #AbandonDarkness
