Fay George Workshops- A Complete Introduction to Ceramics

On this comprehensive, full-day lesson, Fay will introduce you to several different pottery techniques and give you the chance to make your very own signature range! You’ll be guided through pinch potting, hand-building, surface painting and throwing on a potter’s wheel. Fay will teach you how to create different effects on the clay, and draw inspiration from a beach walk, selecting different natural materials to incorporate into your designs. You’ll make several pieces throughout the day, which you’ll be able to collect at a later date (once they’ve been fired in Fay’s kiln).
