Hot Mess: Global Warming Meets Mindless Waste
June 21 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pmFree
Hot Mess celebrates the work of local art director and designer Daisy Harris-Burland, who describes her style as ‘high-end trashion’. It’s these skills that have seen her crowned Radical Designer of the Year, with an impressive and eclectic portfolio of clients including Dior, Suzuki, Waitrose and Goodwood. Daisy’s work has also featured in a global TV commercial for Tiger Beer’s Unchanged Talent campaign.
Hot Mess will celebrate the preview of new dresses made from re-used marketing materials from the Hotwalls Studios and Portsmouth City Council, as well as dresses from Daisy’s impressive portfolio. The exhibition is a must for all fans of colour, fashion and fun. Expect tongue-in-cheek humour, original designs, and materials recycled in ways you’ve never seen before.
