Interactive Weaves: An Exhibition
September 17 @ 11:00 am - September 19 @ 4:00 pmFree
Celebrate collaboration and creative practice at the Interactive Weaves exhibition!
The show will be held from Friday 17th-Sunday 19th September. It will feature all woven artworks made over the course of the project, displayed from the trees outside the Hotwalls Studios. All supporting artworks, including live paintings from the events, will be on display in the Round Tower. The exhibition will be accompanied by a free knotting workshop and a plant weave, inspired by weaver bird nests. Watch Kristy Fleury life-paint the weave outside on an easel.
The event marks the end of Alice’s collaborative project, made possible by the Arts Council National Lottery Project Grant. It will celebrate creativity in Portsmouth and collaboration between the public and professional artists.
Like all events at the Hotwalls Studios, both the outdoor and Round Tower exhibition will be accessible to people in wheelchairs and mobility scooters. Accessible toilets and accessible parking spaces are available on site.
The Round Tower can be accessed by bus, and is a 15 minute walk from Portsmouth Harbour train station.
