foursandeights are a print collective and risograph studio based in Portsmouth. Both graphic designers with a passion for print. Marie who works under hellomarie is an award winning graphic designer, freelance designer, senior lecturer in graphic design and is Adobe Certified. Darren who works under luckydarren is a graphic designer, illustrator and also a lecturer in Graphic Design. Both Marie and Darren hold several professional memberships including the British Printing Society, Society of Bookbinders and Oxford guild of printers.
They design, make and sell prints as well as pins, stationery and apparel online and from their studio at the Hotwalls Studios. They also stock a small range of their work in Aspex Gallery, Gunwharf Quays. Marie and Darren love to teach so they also run workshops in Risograph Printing, Letterpress, Bookbinding, Lego Printing, Book Design, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop. They also run children’s workshops including Lego printing, Risograph printing and paper making as well as run workshops for schools and in the local community.
